Stacey A. Wright is the Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence at CyberWA and teaches graduate cybersecurity and threat intelligence courses at the University of Albany, State University of New York. She works with multiple partners and stakeholders around the world, although she specializes in working with law enforcement. Her work includes co-chairing the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Cyber Security Working Group, membership on the IACP Cybercrime and Digital Evidence Committee; the National Sheriff’s Association (NSA) Cybersecurity and Crime Work Group; and the IJIS Institute Cyber Security Task Force.
Previously, Stacey was the VP of Cyber Resiliency Services for the non-profit Cybercrime Support Network (CSN), where she led a Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) cooperative agreement to develop the Cyber Domain for NIEM. Prior to her work at CSN, Stacey was the Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence and then the Director of Partnerships for the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) at the Center for Internet Security (CIS). As the Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence, she built the team and then oversaw the development of more than 300 yearly products containing timely, actionable, unbiased state, local, tribal, and territorial government insight. As Director of Partnerships, Stacey also built the program and secured more than 20 partnership agreements with outside organizations during her first year.
Stacey began her career in cyber threat intelligence as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Albany Division, where she was responsible for coordinating the local cyber intelligence program and served as the FBI’s liaison to the MS-ISAC. Stacey began her technical career as an Information Systems Specialist for the Cambridge, MA, Public Safety departments. She is a formally trained Intelligence Analyst with more than 20 years of experience in cyber, a published thought leader, CISSP, and a national speaker on cybercrime and cybersecurity.
